Mattes von Sprotte and little Lotti
With little Lotti, whom he meets by chance on his way to see his flock of seagulls in Hamburg, he experiences many exciting adventures on coastlines all over the world. Always in pursuit of Lotti's father, whom they narrowly miss each time.
The whole flock of seagulls helps as much as they can, of course. Seagulls are very social animals and always stick together. So, in the MöwMöw children's books, the group constantly sets out so that Lotti and her dad can finally be together again.
