Unexpected lifestyles hold many surprises. The story of STRØM's existence is based on one of these chance encounters. Let us take you back to the memorable spring of 2017… It was during a warm and cozy birthday party in Antwerp (with exquisite hot dogs served) that Nico, Charly, Simon and Kristof started talking about a new clothing brand based on the combination of high quality textiles and recognizable minimal icon designs. Without any relevant affinity with the apparel industry and under the constant scrutiny of Fashion Police investigations, further brand/concept development was far from what one might call a walk in the ( Stads)park. But finally the snail reached the arch on the Scheldt… while bringing with it the inspiration to baptize the brand with the name STRØM; a nod to Antwerp, the “Stad aan de Stroom” and Scandinavian minimalism.

Today, almost 4 years later, we can see that the chaotic start-up has transformed into a flexible (sometimes chaotic but) e-commerce scale-up with international allure, via a path paved with friendship and complementary skills. Our youthful enthusiasm makes us want new horizons. We are about to set sail for new (overseas) adventures. We would be honored if you stayed on board. Thank you and… casting lines!
