Spartan Duck King Leonidas

The name Leonidas translates from ancient Greek to mean "son of the lion". Leonidas, the legendary warrior king of Sparta, and the Battle of Thermopylae is one of the brightest events in ancient Greek history, a great act of courage and self-sacrifice.

The costume, sword, and helmet of the LEONIDAS duck are replicas of the armor worn by heroes in battle.
