Jake and Elwood Blues want to reunite their rhythm and blues band and play concerts to earn the $5,000 needed to save their childhood orphanage, which is threatened with closure by the tax authorities. Their plan proves difficult to pull off. Pursued by the police, a gang of neo-Nazis, fellow musicians, and a mysterious woman harboring a deep grudge, the Blues Brothers find themselves embroiled in one outlandish adventure after another.
